I wonder if I should make a comment here. I am the last guy that Steve agreed to make a movie for. In ’78 I met with him and Maher of ICM at a Beverly Hills restaurant, and I had brought my lawyer who was the Dean of the New York Law School. Maher and the Dean knew each other; and actually I met Steve at Trancas in ’77. At the deal meeting Steve was mostly back and forth from the kitchen.
Steve had a different sense of life, mind sense. It got spooky. But I was always spooky I guess anyway, and Not Whatever as Heck.
Good luck to all Steves’ family and friends. When you meet a true human being, it makes you happy.
